Galatians 6:7-8

7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

John 4:38

38 I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”

Matthew 13:24-26,30

24 Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time, I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”

1. A harvest can be good or bad depending on what you have sowed. Pray that every ICA member will not compromise on the kind of seeds we sow for all the harvests we are dreaming to have.

2. Some harvests will be from seed that other people sowed. Thank God for all our predecessors who laid a foundation upon which we are building or thriving. Pray that God will grant us the grace to enjoy more of such easy harvests this year, in every aspect of our lives.

3. Pray that we will seriously consider making life better for coming generations. Pray that this attitude will be instilled in many Malawians starting from toddlers.

4. The enemy can misdirect the harvest by sowing weeds among the wheat. Pray that we will quickly realize if the enemy managed to misdirect our harvests at any point. Pray that God will grant us wisdom to redirect the harvests as we wait in prayer.

5. The enemy sowed weeds while everyone was sleeping. Pray that this will not happen at ICA. Pray that we shall all remain awake and alert so that the enemy does not tamper with our plans in this year of a great harvest.
