Praying for Malawi 

Psalm 124:1 & 8 (ESV) - If it had not been the Lord who was on our side— let Israel now say. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

1 Tim 2: 1-2 (ESV) - First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.

1. Good governance is essential for our nation to flourish. Pray, lifting our leaders, entrusting them to God’s wisdom when making crucial decisions that affect our nation and the people in Malawi.

2. Pray that God will guide our leaders towards righteousness and justice, leading our country with compassion and wisdom. 

3. If it had not been the Lord who was on our side— let Malawi now say in prayer;

  Disease outbreaks like COVID-19, EBOLA and others would have wiped us out!

  Hunger would have wiped us out!

  Natural disasters like floods, cyclones would have wiped us out!

  Wars and conflicts would have wiped us out!

  Malawi’s help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth!

Luke 10:2 (ESV) - And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.

2Timothy 1: 7 (ESV) - for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

1. Pray that God the Father will create in us compassionate hearts for the lost in Mali. 

2. Pray that believers will be willing to be used by God as the vessels of His mercy and salvation truth to the lost people groups in Mali.

3. Pray for boldness among missionaries to preach the gospel without hesitation or timidity among the people groups of Mali. 

4. Pray that the gospel will touch many hearts and lead them to the saving grace of God.

Prayers for Malawi Assemblies of God (prayer for love in the church)

John 13:34 (ESV) - A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

 Pray that love would abound within the Body of Christ just as Jesus Christ loves us, thereby demonstrating to the world that we are His disciples.

 Pray pulling down strongholds of age-old hatred that has paralyzed some relationships among MAoG leaders.
